Plan Your Visit

“…seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.“ – Matthew 7:7 (NIV)

More often than not as a culture, we wait for an invitation prior to making our presence known among others. The Fisherman’s Net invites anyone interested in establishing a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ–for the first time, or during any time in their lives.

We invite you to come and see Who We Are, explore What We Believe, learn What to Expect, and find out What We Do. As a church dedicated to following the example of Jesus in making fellow brothers and sisters ‘fishers of men’, our legacy runs deep within our community, our members, and throughout southeast Michigan.

What should I wear?

We invite you to come as you are. At our church, you will typically see people dressed casually in jeans & t-shirts, khakis and a polo, and some wearing their “Sunday best”.

Where should I park?

We have parking spots for guests located in the parking lot in the back of the building. Overflow parking is on the street in front of the building or around the block on Van Dyke in the Weingartz parking lot, which has stairs leading to our main parking lot.

What is the worship like?

Our worship is a mix of older hymns and contemporary Christian music and usually lasts around 30 minutes before the congregational prayer and teaching. Communion is offered on the first Sunday of each month for those who are believers in the Lord Jesus Christ.

What are the people like at Fisherman's Net?

We have a very friendly and open congregation, with people from all walks of life. There is a time of coffee and fellowship after the service, which is a great time to connect and meet people.

What programs do you have for kids?

Our children remain in the first part of the service for worship with their parents. After worship they are excused to go to their Sunday School classes upstairs. If this is your first visit please accompany your children to their classrooms to introduce yourselves to the teachers. (Grades are marked over the classroom doors.) Our teachers are loving and kind and reflect the special love Jesus has for the children. Toddler nursery is available as well. All of our staff are fully trained and screened. After the service, parents go upstairs to pick up their children from their classrooms.
